About the authorLaura Hendrix Ezell grew up in Alabama. She received masters' degrees in Library & Information Studies and Creative Writing from The University of Alabama, where she also served as Editor of Black Warrior Review. She completed a Ph.D. in Exceptional Education from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, TN.
Her work has appeared in McSweeney's, The Kenyon Review, Mid-American Review, The Chapbook, and other journals. A Record of Our Debts is her first book. Currently, she works as a school librarian in Birmingham, Alabama, where she lives with her husband, two daughters, and their dogs. |
